Congratulations to Allison Clawson!
School is out for summer! And Allison wasted no time getting into a healthy routine, she was eager to be more consistent...mission accomplished. Allison continues to improve her form and the weights just keep piling on. She hit several PRs throughout the month. Allison has an awesome outlook on life and brings that with her each day into the box. She is another great example of what fitness should look like, hard work, great effort, and tons of fun!

What do you do when you're not at WC?
I teach pre-health career courses at LCC, hang out with my 3 crazy children, and recently I've really gotten into learning more about holistic health & essential oils.
When did you realize crossfit is right for you? When I puked up ravioli in my driveway after my first day of on ramp...
What's your favorite WOD/movement?
Box jumps & front squats
What's your least favorite WOD/movement? Rowing & overhead squats
What is one thing you have done at WC that you never thought u would do?
Pretty much any movement involving upper body strength
What motivates you during a WOD?
I want to set a positive example for my little girls regarding health, body image, etc. I love being able to tune out from "real life" for an hour - it's a great stress reliever! Also, there is nothing better than the team atmosphere at WCF.
What is something about yourself we may not know?
I love to read, I'm an adrenaline junkie, and I would love to travel the world someday!
What advice would you give someone just getting started with crossfit?
Don't worry about how much the person next to you is lifting, just do YOUR best. And drink more water!
